ZINES, Booth Z-4
A graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon & Graphic Art, Inc. CGhirardo began his career as a freelance illustrator working for various publications. He then began to exhibit his contemporary figurative paintings he calls "Neo-Humanism". In 2010, CGhirardo returned to his first love, comics. Believing comics ARE an art-form, he began to experiment with the use of images to tell a story by combining his Neo-Humanism figurative style with modern art techniques such as cubism, fauvism, abstract art and more. He started a webcomic and self-published his own zines using this storytelling comic style he calls "Sequential Surrealism: showing the surrealism behind the realism".
