Painting, Booth 638
Nature is essential for humans, we become healthier, both mentally and physically, when we explore the outdoors. Increasingly, however, humans seem to connect less with the natural world. My work bridges the gap of our disconnection, allowing the viewer to contemplate the complexity and uplifting effect of our natural surroundings. Through my work, I relish examining and translating intricate details (leaves, water reflections, dappling sunlight) into paintings that celebrate the grace of the Canadian landscape.
