Éliane Ducros, based in Montreal, studied graphic design at University of Quebec in Montreal from 1988 to 1990. After graduting, she moved to Italy to study painting and illustration. Then worked as a freelance Graphic Designer for top businesses in Canada. In 2015 she left the field of Design to pursue a full time career as a painter. Searching for patterns of colour, light, and shape. Her painting experiences have led her to places such as the annual, juried exhibition ART EXPO in New York in 2017, and galleries in Biarritz south of France. Her first stand out piece “Zanzibar” was picked up, among 24,721 pieces, by Saatchi gallery to be featured in the “Pop Gifts” Collection, a part of Saatchi Art’s 2015 Gift Guide Collections.
