The primitive vocabulary. Henry Ho is a Canadian Chinese artist living in the City of Markham. He employs the elegant brush stroke of ancient Chinese brush work and the unique performance of X’uan paper ( the ancient Chinese art paper) to explore the realm of his spirituality. Recently, Henry has developed his art with the primitive vocabulary from the mother nature, the structural installation-printings suggest the dialogue between his spirituality and the “True Existence”. Henry was the teacher of Chinese calligraphy and ink painting at the Art Gallery of Ontario. His works are in the collection of The Frederick Horsman Varley Art Gallery of Markham and the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
