Encaustic, Booth 1007
When I came across my first encaustic piece, I was lost in the medium and I knew I wanted to experience it's magic. My work is an expression of where I am, mirroring my inner landscape and reminding me to stay present. I use painting as a tool for letting go, creating a space to play, and honouring my intuition. At times I feel like I have full control of the wax and at other times I follow its flow; learning to accept what is. My purpose for painting is for connection. It is to touch the hearts of many while adding beauty to the everyday.
