Sculpture, Booth 322
Kristian Spreen is an artist and designer from Toronto. She studied painting and drawing before developing a fascination with the medium of glass. Her works consist of blown glass forms that have been engraved and roughly sketched upon with ceramic underglaze pencils. Her blown glass vessels function as environments for abstract drawings to interact within. Each piece is a conversation, a series of decisions between the artist and the object that result in a three-dimensional painting.
