Painting, Booth 430
Canadian artist Paul Saari explores the continuing narrative of our place in the natural environment. Compositions created through repetition of simplified objects give rise to formations that dominate the canvas. Mythology, concepts of emergence and scientific literature inspire his work. In response to the uncertainty dominating our current time, he has turned his attention to the tenacity and ineffable beauty of nature, celebrated through depictions of vegetation erupting with boundless potential. Paul holds an HBFA in painting and printmaking and resides in Queenston. His art can be found in collections within North America, and both England and continental Europe.
